On Monday November 11, 2019, Mercury, the planet closest to the sun, will be visible as a tiny spot crossing the face of the sun (see website below). You will need to have a telescope with proper solar filters it see it, but check out your local “star and telescope club”. In all likelihood they will be setting up such scopes and inviting you to the view. This is a rare event; try not to miss it.
