In the aftermath of the dust bowl, the US Dept. of Agriculture created what is now the Natural Resources Conservation Service. With an office located in every county of the US, the NRCS provides advice/help/instruction regarding every aspect of agriculture ranging from home lawns and gardens to full scale farming for just the price of asking.
