Germination of Pollen Grapes
Germination of pollen grains is seen in the following video. Try it yourself if you wish. Put pollen grains from any mature flower on a microscope slide. Add a drop of 10-20% table sugar solution. Observe under a microscope 40-400 power. It may take 20-60 minutes for germination to occur.
