Lowering temperature causes liquids to become solids. The following is a video a soap bubble freezing. It provides an awesome view of ice crystals forming and growing. In watching this have kids visualize the water particles (molecules) joining together in distinct arrangements to form the crystals. Enjoy, and post any questions that arise. It may be fun to experiment with freezing bubbles yourselves. Let us know your results.
